power comander has an error
have power comander 3 usb and bike started spiting and back firing
thought it was throttle position so i pluged in my laptop to reset
now i can get rpm's i can get a map but no throttle position and it gives me an error 39
no communication.
anyone have any ideas of what to do

First of all I would hard reset the PCIII and reload your map. If that doesn't solve the issue, then I would contact PC tech support or Jamie at FuelMoto if you bought it from him. Another person had the same error on another forum. Error 39 is crank sensor error which was caused by corrupted firmware on the PCIII. Tech support instructed him on how to reflash the firmware and it resolved his issue. Also, went you installed the PCIII did you coat all the connectors with dielectric grease, this could be an issue due to corrosion on a contact. Good luck. Jerry

My mechanic had the power commander and it screwed up on him. He sent it back to get reprogrammed. He got it back and took a trip, 150 miles into it the bike shut off while riding, no power to anything. He took it out on the side of the rode, put his bike back together, fired right up and hasn't put it back on since.
