The HD version, chrome, switch buttons, rear master cylinder and chrome calipers were installed on my 2005 Se Fat Boy, when it was first bought and everything still looks new.

kuryakyn has always put out a good product...stealers are always more and will always say their's are better

I put the HD's on wife's Heritage. I had the Kurs on my King. Both good quality, actually I don't think a difference.

I used a custom chrome set, like 70 bucks off ebay new. anyway they still look new after a couple of years.

Personally, I'd stick with the Harley stuff. I've got all Harley on both of my bikes never had a problem....I only buy Harley stuff on sale from my local dealer (usually 20% off). Also, check sites like chicago harley and surdyke...you can find good deals on authentic Harley parts 20% off or more and sometimes free shipping.

I'd probably stick with the HD stuff also although I didn't know Kuryakyn made
all that stuff and I'm at their website now looking at various things. But with
these items specifically (the chrome electronic housing and switches) I would
probably look at HD first.

The Harley catalog has alot of Kury. parts it rebranded for Harley.Lots of chrome covers.Some people just don't bother to check.

They probably come from the same source... Having said that, I have all genuine H-D parts on my scoot
