Default V&H Bigshots...Long!

x2...They look great & have that Harley sound right out of the box! Loud, but NOT overly obnoxious as some pipes I've heard. Of course obnoxious to me might be music to someone else's ears as it's very subjective. I will say however I've never had a LEO even give me a second look fwiw.
Good luck, so many choices!

You said your wife bought you the gift certificate right? If she rides with you you best go checkin out bikes with different pipes. I've got a set of Hooker troublemakers for my Heritage but they are loud. I'm not sure your wife would like em? For 2 up ridin and a decent sound I would recomend Rush slip ons with a 2 inch baffle. Good sound can here you comin, but won't leave your ears ringin on a long ride. $230.00 and your Harley dealer can order them for ya. Happy trails!

I wanted to thank everyone for taking to time to respond to my post, alot of great suggestions. I'll be a better educated shopper now.

Happy New Year!

'02 Heritage that desperately needs new pipes

'05 Fatboy custom that was confiscated by the FBI that had Pythons that sounded great

Another vote for the Pythons. My wife's Heritage has the PythonIII Staggered Duals sounds great.
