You have your choice of colors - black or chrome They come standard on Deluxes, screaming eagle fatboys and maybe others I dont know about. They lower seat 3/4" and rear fender 1".

hpfatboys right I did the lowering bolts and bought the kidney belt later. I'd get the progressives or work perfromance before I bought another Harley shock.

If you want really nice ride get works performace shocks. Pricey, but good stuff and made in the usa. Or go for an air ride if you wanna blow your whole wad.

no, thats why I ask, i like doing it right the first time, just finished modding my sporty, changed the rear suspension and front fork springs, any real need to change the front springs on it? have not even driven the bike yet, picked it up last month so the season os over here, just lots of snow everywhere so working on the bikes over the winter. I will order the 422's tomorrow, i like the way they feel on my sporty so ill stick with those. thanks for the info guys, ill keep you posted after the install and when the bike comes out the end of March. the works performace shocks look good but for $180.00 less you can get the Progressive's.
does anyone know if there is a big difference between these two shocks?
