The floorboards on a crossbones are already futher foward and different than other harley models. Example look at cheesecake # 7 picture. Iam not sure about extention kits for it and I want to move back from the tank a little so Iam sticking with the seat mod if possible. Ive consisered the standard solo seat I think due to the thickness of padding in it it will move me back but will also lower me which is not what I want. Plus the stock seat looks good on the bike I just think it could be Mcgivered a little and Ill have the stlye and funtion Iam looking for.

Hi, still riding a Cross Bones?
I wondered if you'd been able to set yours up to accommodate your height.
I am heading to NewPort Richey in January to visit a friend and RIDE.
I'm hoping to be able to set my bones up for my height (6'1").
Any tips you might have are welcomed!

Sorry no tips. I sold her two years ago than bought a 2009 Police road king. It may not look as cool as the bones but handles the two up of big ole me and my lady much better. Its got an air ride solo and wide passenger pillon. I do miss the bones somtimes and if I could afford two bikes I would still have her but I know I have the right tool for the job now.

I just ditched the stock seat for the Tallboy seat, and while it doesn't offer the same look, I love the ride more.

I took mine and added 3" forward control extensions. They arent listed for floorboards but work just fine. I also have the 1925 seat. With these 2 together I am really stretched out. I am 6'3'' and just ordered some taller apes. I should be VERY comfortable come spring time!!
