Old school exhaust for an old school bike.

It works for me.
Nice choice.

I know this is an old post, but is there any real reason the OP ditched the Big Growls?? Anyone know?

I don't know, but I love upswepts on the Xbones. I've been looking for some like this that extend a little further in the rear but I am not having much luck. I'd love to out some on my bones with flappers on the end!! Good luck! I know how hard it is to decide on an exhaust system!!

Ahh Those pipes match you're bike perfect. I'm thinking if they were black it would look even better... nice choice!

I main reason I switched from the Big Growls is found a great deal on the Hooker Fourbiddens and was looking to get back some low end power.

I really like the looks of the up and outs and they sound awesome. They are 2 1/4" unbaffled pipes and somewhat flat at the low end, but great at full throttle. I was running a PCIII with a canned map from fuel moto and was getting around miles 25 mpg. I could have probably improved that with a dyno tune and better driving habits.

I was looking to get some some black pipes and have always liked the looks of the fourbiddens. The 2 into 1 gave me back the low end. The 3in collector with a minimal baffle has a deeper, richer sound than the straight pipes, but is still loud enough set of car alarms with a quick twist.
