Think it's too much bread. They look kind of weird. Any auto parts store has those little adhesive ones you can stick on the corners of your mirrors for the same effect. I don't know why people always want them on the outside. Seems they would work better on the inside corners, where all you see is your jacket and stuff, but I could be wrong.
I tried them for a while but sold them. They didn't look right. The regular mirror just showed my shoulders so I had to use the convex mirror all the time. ...and they were not black.
had a set on mine and still found myself turning my head to look out of habit or whatever...so ended up taking them off and going with a set that fit the bikes personality...I agree with stretchman's comments.
I just went to Pep boys and bought a small adhesive chrome-trimmed convex insert which fits in the outer corner to improve my side vision on existing mirror. About $2.50.
I have them on my Heritage, does take some getting use to. It takes a little more adjusting to get it be effictive in seeing good into the lanes on both sides but I am begining to like the view it gives you. Still good to turn you head just to make sure you are paying attention.
