Default 07 Night Train

I just put a Metzler 880 Marathon XXL 210/50ZR/17 on the back and a 120/70V-21 on the front. The fender on the front fits just fine. I will tell you that the rear just fits in there so that the belt and swing are works without rubbing.

I'm running a 120 in front (FatBoy) but also a 3.5 rim, should've gone with a 130 (if is there such a thing on 21") the fender and the wheel are no issue...

I put a 120/70/21 on my old rim -2.15 and it just barely fit. when i got my new rim -3.5 it wouldn't even let the fender come close to the bolt holes

Correct rim width may be critical to handling and stability. A tire which is installed on a wider than
recommended rim will have
a "flattened" profile, and a rider may easily reach the edge of the tread during cornering. A narrow rim will alter the tire profile, with a smaller contact patch during braking. Fitment to these rims may result in slippage or air loss.

Night, what is that on the front frame of your bike in the signature? Makes it look real clean.

What are the pros of running a wider tire in the front ? is it a matter of looks or is the ride / handeling improved ?
