I just put a Metzler 880 Marathon XXL 210/50ZR/17 on the back and a 120/70V-21 on the front. The fender on the front fits just fine. I will tell you that the rear just fits in there so that the belt and swing are works without rubbing.
ok...21x3 with the 120/70 metz...freshly installed for your veiwing pleasure, on my 2k train the stock fender will not fit, not enough lateral clearence.
I'm running a 120 in front (FatBoy) but also a 3.5 rim, should've gone with a 130 (if is there such a thing on 21") the fender and the wheel are no issue...
Correct rim width may be critical to handling and stability. A tire which is installed on a wider than recommended rim will have
a "flattened" profile, and a rider may easily reach the edge of the tread during cornering. A narrow rim will alter the tire profile, with a smaller contact patch during braking. Fitment to these rims may result in slippage or air loss.
when i get new wheels for my night train, im getting a 21 x 3.5 front and im gonna use a 120 tire. i think it will fit but it will be really tight, i have a new front fender to go with it though
Night, what is that on the front frame of your bike in the signature? Makes it look real clean.
