Default rock-n-bobber II fender

I really like this shorter fender from Heartland. But my friends say that I'll get a lot of road debris on my back. (especially if the roads are wet) What do you guys think. Does anyone have any experience with a fender this small.

i love those short fenders, especially on the rocker. who cares if you catch some stuff on your back. if the road is wet then chances are it's raining....at that point who cares if your shirt gets dirty.

I would get it

...definately will have some road on your back, but not all that bad....wet roads are another thing you are going to have a wet back... i agree with Alain though...the fender looks good...its a matter of take the good with the bad or vice versa...LOL...I have my Heartland fender currently out for some work being done on it and paint..it will be short as well

I have a Heartland 250 "bobber" kit wth a short fender, yes you will get very wet when it rains. Having said that I don't seem to get a dirty shirt or jacket as the case may be. Most of the dirt and debris exits the tire at about 10:00 O'clock position whereas the rain comes over at about 1o O'clock at just the right angle to get you wet. But you will be STYLIN!

The shorter fender looks great. I say you should do it. Isn't the whole point of the rocker to show off that back tire?

Do you really care if you take on a little rain. It's all about looks.

The fender by itself is about $800 for the rock and bobber kit.
