Default lower fairings on a fatboy

pics below

there were tested to answer this question that has been asked several time. First, I am waiting on my title to come in so I can trade my fatboy for an Electraglide classic. But While I am waiting for it to show up I am buying parts for it. So I thought I would try these to help out my fatboy brothers.

FYI I didn't tighten the engine guard back, this was only a test fit. I also didn't tighten the bottom of the lowers.

Also the lower mounting hardware has to be turned around the opposite direction or it wont fit. The fatboy guard is taller than the touring bike guard.

Looks good but I would cut out the inner portion to promote engine cooling.

I believe the black portion will come out for summer time riding.

Go for it. It looks cool to me. Screw what others think.

Page 415 of the 2009 accessories and parts guide has quick detach kit. Typical high price $100

I think the lowers look great on a Fatboy. Would like a color matched set for my King, but $650? , will have to wait til next year. Got soft lowers that work great though.
