Wink Handicapped bike plates

How in the hell do you get a handicapped license plate for a bike? so let me get this straight. you can ride a bike but cant walk the extra distance 15ft.) to get in a regular spot? or your arms dont work properly? how would you like to be driving behind this person knowing that his/her cant walk the extra distance in a parking lot but is controlling a 700lbs harley or other bike for all that matters. now this is a crazy thought!!! if you have such a plate please tell me what kind a disability you came to get this? maybe i could get this plate just knowing that i may park my bike next to the door every where i go. now that would be cool!!!! I just spotted one of these such plates on this forums i just got a kick out of it.

THere are a lot of disabilities that have absolutely nothing to do with walking. I know a guy who has a disabled plate on his bike and he can probably out run me.

My wife has a handicapped sticker for her car.

If anyone qualifies for handicapped plates/sticker I don't think they find it amusing.

I'll ask my wife if she does and let you know.

My wife has a Motorcycle Endorsement and will probably get her own bike, with handicapped plates, in the spring.

BTW, I just spoke with her and she doesn't find it your posts "amusing".

The word she used was "lame".

As you can see i guess this topic offends you. by which is was not meant to so thats why i say "this isnt meant to offend anybody" i was just asking a question. and as for being handicapped i have a brother (half paralized) who is handicapped so get off the sympothy. and if i asked him the same ? im sure he would luagh about it!!!! as he has told me before "IF I EVER RODE THIS BIKE I BET I WOULD DROP THIS THING ON ITS SIDE" in his own words!!!! and then he LAUGHED about it..... and as for the lung comment i didnt think about that. but i guess u can walk the extra distance that why you dont have such a plate isnt it? i just pictured my little brother riding my bike which wouldnt be such a great idea. so like i say again THIS THREAD ISNT MEANT TO OFFEN ANYBODY IT JUST A SIMPLE QUESTION?????

You can't just say something isn't intended to offend when you alread know it is most likely going to offend at least some people. It is a pretty stupid question......

I do want to know what Blind People dream about though... .Are there any blind bikers out here that can answer that for me?
