New Mod - Floorboard Highway Pegs - I love them!
Thought I would share my love for the most recent mod for my 05 FB, the Kuryakyn Cruise Arm Mark III's floarboard highway pegs. I just put them on yesterday and took a three hour road trip today. They were awesome. It is real nice to be able to switch leg positions every once in a while. No more leg cramps!
One lesson I learned the hard way - use the grease that comes with the kit on the bolts otherwise the nut seizes halfway up the threads. I had to cut off one of the screws and replace it with a stainless steel set. Ugh, what a mess!

I saw a set of these just recently at my dealers installed on a fatboy. They look like they would be really comfortable. My understanding is that they won't work with the crash bars.

They were one of the first things I did with my bike and have absolutely no regrets. I love 'em. Very comfy and very easy to swap out pegs to match any other custom pegs or floorboard covers you might have.

The cruise arms don't stick out as much as highway pegs on an engine guard. They're a little wider than the floorboards themselves.. Maybe as wide as an engine guard without any highway pegs. Which is one of the reasons they're so comfortable because your feet are just up a little and stretched out nice, but you're not all "spread-eagle" like you would be with an engine guard and pegs.
