You'll be happy with them.. I think this is Kuryakyn's coolest product. The one thing I'm very glad I bought for the fatboy. Nice thing about them you can use any H-D footpeg so if you decide to swap out pegs and do matching floorboard covers, you can put them on the cruisearms to match.. I've seen this one time and it looks terrific. They may still have the option to purchase without the ISO-pegs, so you can pick your own.. which makes them a little less expensive.

 

Just got rid of the engine guard on my 05 Fatboy and was wondering how these would work. Gotta love this site! Ordered a set from Eastern Performance yesterday ($170 shipped).

I wonder if they'd fit on the Passenger Floorboards ('05 Deluxe) as well?

 

no they make something else for the passenger floorboard.....it is an adjustable peg to give other foot optoins but they are not extended out for that passenger can put legs on your lap!!!!!!!!!

 

I just picked up a set of these last night.

Anyone have any tips to offer on installation other than using the supplied grease? I understand you have to drill the floorboards, is this pretty much idiot proof or do i run the risk of screwing something up?

 

Dish soap to get the floorboard pads off (though I think that's in the instructions).
Be careful they don't interfere with the shift and brake pedals.. Other than that it's pretty much a breeze.
From memory, I think the floorboards are a little soft, so be careful not to bend or warp them.
Fairly idiot proof I'd say.. Just don't strip or scatch anything. hehe

It's been quite a while.. pushing two years or more since I installed these.. I'd do well to check the bolts for tightness.. don't remember if I was proactive enough to use locktite.

 

They went on without a hitch.....definately have to use the anti sieze as those are not nyloc nuts.

I'll go ahead and say that I love these things.....they're just what i wanted, adjusted where i wanted them and serve the purpose!

And they look pretty bad *** too.
