Default Black Denim paint??

Hello all,

I have a Night Train on order with Black Denim. My friend is telling me I should change my order, because the Black Denim is extremely hard to clean. He also said it tends to wear easily. Any thought and recommendations on this? Thanks

Default Flat Black and Beautiful

Morning. Black Denim paint is no different than any other paint except you don't want to wax it or you loose that flat finish. I've had mine for several months and no problems. If it gets scratched a little flat black paint with a low luster clear coat will touch it up. This paint will wear and get a bit shiny after a time but they say this ads character to the bike ? Or you can get the part re-painted. This is a very low maintenance paint, my last bike was a gloss black and I had a devel of a time trying to get rid of all the swirles (or how ever you spell it). Black Denim has a great look (though a bit on the bad side).

imho, black denim is the easiest to clean. it doesn't show dirt as easily and when it does pressure wash and air dry down the road and your good.

yeah, it's a dark charcoal gray, but with green and purple metal flake that really pop when out in the sun. it also looks like it has several deep clear coats.

He is full of it. Black Denim is easy maintenance compared to vivid black. Don't change your order.
