I have the 14" Wild One Chubby apes with 1 1/2" risers.. Absolutely love them! I am 5'6" tall and they are perfect for me. I feel like I could go higher if needed/wanted. I believe the next time around I will go with 16's.

The 1.25" is not a problem several manufacturers (carlini, wild1, etc...) have 1.25" at the clamping area. Carlini for example is 1", 1.25", 1.5", straight from grip to grip. Wild1's come reduced at the clamping area to 1" but you can buy from them these pieces to fit with 1.25" raisers:

Carlini bars are 1.25 at the riser, or 1.50 depending on the bar. They have 3 different styles of apes to choose from and most times they have blems for $100 off. I've seen a few sets of the blems and I can't ever find the blemish at all.
