Smile Update...

There is a foot of snow to shovel but I don't care..... I just received my front end kit and it's perfect!!!!!!!

It's all brand new and was really well-packaged by the dealer.

Total price after shipping, customs and taxes $231 CDN. I feel like I stole it.

Now to install it.....

Just like the one I got.... 140 usd was definitely a steal for a chrome front end package. I will probably do mine also over the winter sometime.

Received mine today. Everything checks out okay. All HD original packaging. I'm kicking myself in the azz now for not realizing that the same kit would've fit my wife's Deluxe. Just would've had an extra part (top fork cover).

You could probably sell that fork cover on its own for quite a bit of money. Keep looking: maybe the dealer will have another go at it.

P.S. Have you told your wife yet? You could always give her yours and keep the fork cover...!

I'm sure that I will keep this dealer on my list of favorites.... And when the weather is bad and I need a little pick-me-up, there is always chrome to buy!

Just had my kit installed on my '08 Heritage at Bikers Bay here in Mesa, Az. It took 3.5 hours and one full time tech with alot of assistance from another tech to get the job done. Cost was $275. A word of caution, apparently all of the electrical connections that used to be located behind the headlamp are now located under the fuel tank. This caused some delay because they expected the old setup. It also made the install a bit more complex, having to deal with the tank and all. Getting the windshield bolt holes to line up properly on the upper forks was a pain in the butt too and required both techs to accomplish. All in all I am extremely happy with the new look and after watching the techs, very happy that I didn't attempt the job myself. Its all nuts and bolts and I could have worked my way through the installation but it would have taken quite a while to accomplish. If you decide to tackle the job yourself, you had better have a competent friend around to assist occasionally.
