I still take the position that a basic socket set, a $20 car jack, some blocks of wood, and a $60 manual will get the bike apart. Throw in a $80 torque wrench if you can't bum one for reassembly.

I dig my local dealer but I have found that no one is as **** as I am about torque specs, and general fit and finish of parts. If I am going to be riding this thing at speeds that can kill, I want my hands to be the ones on the fasteners.

A monkey without a service manual? I have the socket kit and the torque wrench. I should put the manual on my xmas list .

yo go softail girl. It is a REALLY easy job that is almost foolproof. save your self some bucks and get to know that bike a little better.......
