Default Drag bars

I have a 2002 softail stand. Any comments on Drag bars? Which look the best.? What should i have for a rise and pullback to make them clear the speedo? Please help. Any pictures would help too, if you have drag bars on your bike. Thanks

I originally had drag bars on my old Sportster and changed to buckhorns because they put me in a lean forward position and that gave me back problems on long rides. One of the reasons I went with a Softail Standard was that the handlebars were pulled back and put me in a better riding position.

You pretty much have to go with whatever you are comfortable with

I just installed the Streetslammer bars on my 05 Softail. The hardest part was routing the wires through the bars. They look clean, and the ride isn't to bad, but I like the way they feal. These bars eliminate the risers, so sit on a bike that has them first. There is no changing the amgle if you don't like them.

I have an 03 Softtail Standard with drag bars. I picked up the bars and risers at the local Harley dealership. I went with 6" straight risers and they easily clear the speedo and I was able to even keep the turn signals on the bars. The bars, in my opinion, are a lot better looking, and nice to have when splitting lanes. I'll try and dig up a pic of the front view as well

You can get the bars a risers from the night train, then order the stock night train cables.
