I've got the sport luggage rack in chrome, Part # 53862-00
I went down yesterday, and ordered the quick detachable sideplates.
I've also got the Harley touring passenger pillion, and the touring backrest.
after im all done i should be able to go from two-up riding with the wife, to stripped down bar hopper in about 10 minutes.
Anybody got any suggestions for a good solo seat ?

Make sure you heat the bolts first!!! Those torx bolts ARE loctited. Hit them w/ a butane torch for about 10 seconds and the come right out. Make sure you put a wet towel over the fender so you dont burn you paint.

QFT...
There seems to be a lot of posts about folks struggling with stripped bolts/ screws....I use a small butane soldering iron with a torch tip to heat the screw heads, never had an issue..yet <knocking on wood>

Now ya tell me! After I ended up using extractors on four of them, I heated one up. It seemed to help a bit, but still ended up using an extractor on it.
