Personally I think you have to have a passion for an Evo Softail. I had one (1992) and enjoyed it but the upgrades that the MoCo has made with the twin cam balanced engine are amazing from a ride comfort standpoint. Further more the brakes are much better. Now to be fair I don't know when they switched over from what ever I had on my '92 but I wouldn't go back - at least not without planning to upgrade them. If you do buy the '96 plan on carrying a small set of tools and some locite! It won't be long before mirrors, dash etc rattle loose. Again - not speaking against them but you need to know what you're getting in to. There's plenty of riders out there that swear the Evos are better.

I have a new in box set of 91536-00B bags. These are no longer available but in my opinion were the best bags ever made for the Fatboy - I'm selling if you're interested. Occasionally they show up on eBay.

Default Saddlebags

I use Boss Bags they come on and off in seconds and are available in lots of sizes. These are 38's.
