Should I be concerned with mileage?

Should I be concerned with mileage?
I am looking to get my first Harley and I think I've found one. It is a 2002 Duece carb'd but it has about 32,000 miles. In my area (upstate NY) it seems that most bikes only get a few thousand miles a year put on them. The price seems right, $13,500 but should the mileage scare me? Am I looking at any huge services (rebuild, etc) that will take away any price advantage on this one? I'm in the car business and mileage plays a huge factor in value, is the same true for the bikes?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

RE: Should I be concerned with mileage?
The Average is 5800 per year, so that one is a little over average.
I was looking at allot of bikes in that price range. Most of them had 20-30k on them. I payed 15k for a bike with 1500 miles on it. Seemed like the best route to go IMO. You may want to look at paying more and getting a bike with little to no miles on it.

RE: Should I be concerned with mileage?
I bought my 2002 Night Train (FXSTB) in 2004 from a good friend for $14,500. It had 20K miles. I knew the bike had been broken in properly and all the maintenance was done on time. My friend was a fanatic in taking care of it. He also had about $5,000 in modifications to the bike. Used bikes can be a good deal if they are properly maintained and come with a lot of accessories. I have since put another 10K miles on the bike without any problems.

Karpro..
Today, you're a lucky man.
Dunkirk, NY, right between Buffalo NY and Erie, PA on Interstate 90..
I've got a friend of mine who has a 2002 Deuce with 500 miles on it.
I've sat on the bike. It's simply a brand new, never ridden Deuce..
That's right, 500 miles. It's absolutely showroom. He bought it when he sold his business, and found out that riding just isn't him.
$13,500 will take it home. Bring your checkbook..
He did have it on Bike Trader, I'll see if I can find it..
Tell him George from Tuscany Deli told you about it..
Here it is, better jump on it.
