You got a part number for that? 'cuz Surdyke lists everything for 20% off every day on the web site, and I'll just order it from there.

Thumbs down

try and put a pc111 on a softtail deluxe and they put it on your lower fender splash gaurd per the install instructions with double sided tape and maybe some tyraps, unprotected from the weather etc and when the tape or tyraps fail and the pc111 gets banged or damaged try getting it replaced by stealer or by the people who make and tell you how to install the pc111 and they will tell you that warranty does not cover damaged pc111"s, and then your stuck with 350$ of junk !!!!!! had i known ahead of time that they would scap on to my ecm like that i would have never purchased one

I heard that since the PCIII and FuelPak are "add-ons" that they weren't as reliable as a SERT which doesn't stay on the bike. Any word on that from the clan elders?

They are add-ons.

I cannot comment on the long-term reliability of a PCIII since mine has only been on for about 5wks and 1k mi. No issues so far. Knowing how much of a pain in the *** it was to install I am glad I did it myself rather than some inexperienced mechanic who cares less about my ride than me. Mine sits behind the mudflap wrapped in some padding material with several hd ty wraps holding it in place. I am confident it will not fall off and to be sure I have inspected it several times and plan to in the future.

I think this falls into if you want it done right, do it yourself category. I know folks with 20k+ mi on their PCs with no issues.
