Default Wheels for Deuce, need info

Im looking at purchasing a 18x5.5 chrome smoothie wheel for my 2002 deuce. Does anyonehere recommend a company or wheel brand? I found a company that is a good price but they said they are unable to get the hub for the deuce. heres the link. http://www.legendmcs.com/custom-chro...heels-new.html

Is there any problem running a 180 tire?
Any info on finding a good wheel will be very helpful.

Thanks Very Much!

Slicknick,

Have you checked out Rccomponents?
And yes a 180mm will fit with no problems at all.
Let us know if we could help you further....

BUCKETASS,
I appreciate the comment. It's a work in progress like all our bikes are.

hogpro.com is a great place to start. I also am working on putting together a 200 setup for my 07 deuce. I purchased the exact parts from the following link https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-on-deuce.html. I got all my parts off ebay. The wheel that is mentioned in the link is being discontinued by HD so you should be able to get them cheap. I only paid 355 bucks for mine and caught the tire on sale last week on ebay for 85 bucks! I would use the 20mm pulley! It will allow correct alignment of the wheel by giving more distance. I got mine off ebay for 31 bucks new. I don't think you have to change out the spacers on the rear wheel either like they did in that link. The 2007 softail wide tire bikes all used the same spacers according to my 07 parts manual. Swing arm is only different in the fact that they use a different caliper. It is a 2 piece caliper on the wide tire models. They still have very little clearance. Hope this helps you out a little.
