Completing my order of a Softail Deluxe on Monday. Dealer has one in stock with laced wheels but have to wait two weeks to get one that I had wanted with Profiled Lace Wheels? When I look at the rounded front hub it looks as though the profile wheels match the "look" better. Any comments on whether Profile wheels are worth the extra $275 and the wait for my new bike? Look forward to your comments.

 

In my opinion you will not notice the difference in wheels, unless you look for it.

 

I think you will find that the difference is very noticeable. Almost everyone (well, other HD owners, anyway) that sees my bike comments on the wheels. See my reply to your post in general chat.

 

I like the look of the profile laced wheels on my 05 deluxe. They almost give it a custom look.
