"DYNO" Numbers For SOFTAILS
#721
Here I post again.
2007 Softail Deuce 96"
V&H Big Shots Staggered.
Arlen Ness Big Sucker 2
Woods tw-555 cams
fuel moto push rods
93 hp/ 97 ft lbs.
Did have a pull of 95hp/100 ft lbs. But a/f was off and figured better save some mpg. also got the tq curve to flatten out at 3200 instead of dropping down
Before the cams I was at 79hp/90 ft lbs

Wonder why the dyno started at 3000rpm, I usually shift at 3200. I would like to see what the torque is at a lower rpm. For example, my torque peaked at 3250rpm. As far as peak hp/tq, it's about the same as my 2012 with stage 1, my peak torque was 100ft lbs

Maybe the wrong place to post this. But I'm amazed by some of the cam-change numbers in here.
I live in Norway, so a big bore with cams and all the other stuff will cost me around $6000. Which I think is alot!
So to the guys with just exhaust, AC and cams. How much did the power actually improve on the road. Is it like night and day, or are the numbers on the dyno.sheet the biggest difference?

I bought my bike basically stock. Added a PCIII, V&H BSS, Big Sucker and Wood 555 Cams and wow, it was a huge difference. I don't know what my numbers are (I assume about 90HP and 100 TQ) but the butt feel is huge. It woke the bike up...if you are thinking about doing cams, do it... you won't regret it.

I honestly could care less what my numbers say on a dyno sheet, that's why I have never had mine dyno'd.

I know, I've felt it.
