HDsoftailrider, does your sheet say "Standard Smoothing"? Skykeeper, does yours say "SAE Smoothing"? If so, that would account for a lot of the difference.
Chart below. SE 110 heads, andrews 48H cam, adjustable push rods and covers, 31 tooth drive pulley, heavy clutch plate, Power Commander III, and Super Trapp crack pipes. 103.56 HP and 116.68 TQ. Build is on a 2008 Night Train.
Well, dealer took it back 2 weeks ago for a "tweak"
still decell POP, and now 6th gear at 70 mph feels like its lugging...lots of vibration but not normal vibration...slower than "normal"
What exactly is "smoothing" and what is the difference between std and sae? Maybe a dumb question but just curios. My dyno sheet says CF:SAE Smoothing:5

Smoothing is a way to account for the differences in air pressure, humidity and temperature because they all affect the numbers, its a way to make the numbers more comparable.
SAE smoothing is considered a bit more sophisticated and accurate than STD smoothing. STD smoothing yields higher numbers but is considered a bit misleading because most people dont know the difference and many tuners will use STD smoothing knowing their customers will be happier with the higher number.
yes it says standard smoothing. it was dyno tuned at Blais Cycle in Miami. it was a mid July afternoon temp was 95F and there was thunderstorms in the area so high humidity too.
