I didn't notice that until you mentioned it. I guess it's like imrotton2 says, probably scaling or something?

Just grabbing at straws here, but I wonder if my numbers would have been better if the gas was pure and not mixed with winterize amounts of seafoam? I had it to the dealer for the cam plate and cams service, with winter storage to boot so I put the seafoam in the fuel prior to dropping it off, and then they dyno'd it. Might just be my wishing it hit 80 torque...

I made a separate thread on this then saw this sticky - Sorry for the double post but this seems to be the best place for this.

Not sure if my expectations are out of line or not. But I expected that I would not have decel pop after a tune. It is worse than it was before. I don't really care about the actual numbers, I just want a well running bike. Which I think it was better before. Can anyone interpret what is going on by the printout?

I had the SE AC, V&H BSS and SERT installed at delivery. Canned map for the first 1000 miles. Dyno'd today and I have worse decel pop. I'm thinking of having it redone by Trask Performance here locally in Phoenix depending on what you guys have to say.

Thanks

Default FatBoy Lo 2010

Put on SE heavy breather and Rush 1.75 slip ons.
Stage 1 was downloaded 2 months ago so I did not think the curve would be all the great.

Every set of V & H pipes I have seen (and heard) have massive decel pop. I had a set of V & H BSS on my '05 Fatty, with SE AC kit & PC 111 piggy back. Changed to V & H Big Radius 2-2, same decel pop problem. Now have same pipes, but with Tmax ECU & intercooled Procharger. No pop (or bang) on decel. Not sure if it's the ECU or the blower that makes the difference to the decel pop. Good luck with tuning it out.
Cheers, Mike

Just got back my '09 Heritage Softail from the shop after a Super Tuner and Dyno....80hp and 90 ft/lbs! Also the decel pop is worse...my guy says it has to do with the "power chamber" on my Vance & Hines BSS. He says that where the pipes meet they share some holes that allow sort of recirculation and makes it difficult to tune out the decel pop. Thats what was told to me anyways. Very happy with the #'s not so much with the pop.

2009 Heritage Softail
SE Stage 1 AC
Vance & Hines BSS
SE Super Tuner
Dyno @ 80hp & 90ft/lbs
