Default Latest Dyno Results

'06 Heritage Softail Classic
88 c.i.
HeadQuarters 0034 Hurricane cams (chain-driven)
D&D Fatcat exhaust (quiet baffle)
K&N air filter in Roland Sands a/c assembly
Power Commander III
----------------------------------

I had the bike tuned over a year ago but I felt it wasn't running its best, so took it in this morning for a new tune. Results significantly improved (same tuner). Red line is new tune.

I finally got my bike dyno tuned, and it really seems to run a lot smoother and feels alot perkier. I have had a race tuner on it since it was new, but it was just set to one of the pre-sets. Since I had the 103 with cams installed I decided to have it dyno tuned. I picked up almost 10 horse and almost 12 ft. lbs. of torque, just by having it tuned and nothing else, I am now a believer in dyno tuning.

Default 2003 FLSTC with 89 HP/103 Torque

Hi All, saw this post so I went down to my local Dyno Shop out of curiosity. I’m riding a 2003 FLSTC Heritage Classic putting out 89 HP with 103 Lbs Torque. I thought I would have more HP after my upgrades yet the torque makes up for it in the fun department! It’s in getting Dyno tuned for the new Mikuni 42 so hopefully they might squeeze me up to a still respectful 90-92 Max HP.
Upgrades: Mikuni 42 Carb, 98” Big Bore Kit, Woods TW6 Cams with hydraulic upgrade, Aim clutch, ThunderHeader 2:1, SE Stage 1 Air Cleaner, Dyna2000 Ele Ignition + a Daytona Digital Info display to monitor everything.
Its in for a new high output starter and dyno tuning at the moment, will post the new numbers when complete.
Cheers

Well I finally found my Dyno sheet. It's a little different than what I remember, must be losing the memory with age....oh well, I think it's still pretty respectful numbers. HP=100.07, Tq=105.72
Bike was dynoed right after mototr was finished, so it still wasn't fully broken in. I have also changed the exhaust from a V&H Pro Pipe to a Thunderheader and rejetted. I'll have to re-dyno again this winter.

Cheers

Default Final tuning done

I finally got my tuning complete and I'm happy with the results. The motor dynoed at 107.63HP and 106.34 TQ. It goes above 90 ft/lbs at about 2600 rpm and stays there past 6000 rpm. Not too bad for a Stage II 95" motor. I am very pleased and it is a blast to ride!

The dealership had a 2010 fatboy low that a customer had done to the ***** right out of the box. It was a stage 4 103 w/ v&h bss and se hb i was there when it came back from dyno. it did 110hp 110ftlb. This thing sounded like god's bike if god rode a HD. I started to save up from that moment.
