Help decipher this, my charts look a little different then the rest. I was a little nervous when he started hammering on her but I knew she was solid but walked away just the same, lol. He told me the changes he made and what he did, I do know now she jumps compared to the way she was. She snaps enough for me and for an 88.

Default New Heads and TB

Bike is 2001 Fatboy with 95” BB, D&D 2-1, HQ0039g cams, Marren Stage1 injectors. Red line is same build, but with nice street ported heads and stock TB bored to 48mm by Dan Vance. Blue line is with newly installed WFO Larry Stage 2 heads, HPI 51mm TB, and a slight bump in compression from 10:1 to 10.5:1. Dyno shows nice power bump from just over 4000 rpm to redline. I would have been very, very happy with that increase across the low end torque range, but bike ran strong before the changes, so did not expect too much. I am a little surprised how much further right the bike pulls with new heads and TB, given same cams. I did not touch cylinders, pistons, or rings during the install.

Have had bike tuned numerous times over the years and not real worried about the numbers, but wanted to share what a nicer set of heads can give you. The old heads supposedly flowed around 258 cfm, so they were already a big improvement over stock 88” heads, so WFO heads gave a nice bump over an already
decent set of heads. My overall numbers are not as high as some 95”, but I do have a 240 rear tire, which eats a little power.

Nice build... Pushing that comp with a 36* ivc must have been a little tricky to tune..

That’s why I originally kept it at 10:1 when I installed the HQ39’s. Everything I saw said the cams can handle the higher compression, so shaved a little more off the heads this time. Tuner did not comment about having issues, but i will definitely be using manual compression releases on every start .

Default 2002 FXSTB build & dyno #'s

2002 FXSTB Night Train ( Bagger )
Pingel petcock (93 octane)
Mikuni hsr 42
S&S Teardrop AC (original size)
Zippers 95" flat top forged KB BBK
Fueling oe+ cam plate
Fueling lifters
Fueling oe+ oil pump
S&S 510c cams
S&S 79cc Super Stock heads
RB LSR 2 into 1 exhaust
.030 MLS
Daytona Twin Tec ignition module ( programmed by Kevin Baxter from Pro Twin/ Skunk Works out of Georgia)
SE plug wires
SE iridium plugs
9.75:1 static 9.3:1 corrected 191ccp
Dyno tuned by Rob's Dyno in Gardner MA 95.2bhp@ 5849rpm / 100.38lbs@ 3313rpm
All the labor was done by myself. Also the tuner said my RB was the bottleneck and said D&D would be my best option for performance gain, so I just ordered a 2 into 1 Trask Assault stainless exhaust, I'm not a big fan of D&D designs. Hope this helps.
