Rear "dirt bike" Look Gone! (pic)
Finally got rid of that "dirt bike" look in the rear of my Heritage. I installed Progressive 422's adjusted to about 1.5 inches lower than stock. Of course I'm still tweaking the preload to find the happy medium for 1 and 2 up riding.

Looks good man, I hated how high the rear fender sat on my fatboy. It always bothered me. I finally put the profile low rear shocks from HD. I looked at the progressives but got my profile low set for $75 bucks from a forum member. Couldn't pass that deal up. Mine is lowered about an inch which is right where I wanted it.

I have to be honest on the comfort......... I think anytime you reduce the "travel" of the shock, you give up comfort. With no preload adjustment and 2-up they were too soft and bottomed out. With the preload tightened, seems much better 1-up...... haven't tested it 2-up since the adjustment, but I think it will be fine (based on it being slightly stiff with just me on it). Time and adjustment will tell.............
