Thanks Chaos, that's quite a compliment considering all the very nice FL Softails on this site.

Good lookin bike Crawdad. I did the 422's this spring and love them. I went with the full 2" drop at first, loved the look but not the ride (I like to turn!). Now sitting only about an inch lowered and the ride is great. Still on hittin the boards a lot, but not nearly as bad. Take care in the corners and learn your new ride height before you push it to hard.

Again looks great.

Lots of twisties where I live so I hesitate in lowering it. Does 1" lower change handling very much? I realize scraping floor boards will happen more often but how about actual handling in turns, lots of them, some kind a tight... ?

Forgot to mention that it looks great lowered!!

I'm one of those "crazies" who doesn't mind scraping. I didn't notice additional scraping since lowering it. Maybe tight twisties would scrape sooner. As far as overall handling (aside from scraping) I've always felt my bike handles well, but theoretically........ lower center of gravity is always better.
