Default Black pipes

I just bought my night train and am interested if there is such a thing as black pipes. If this question has been asked and answered before, please just point me to the thread.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can get them from many suppliers. You can get them from Harley, too, but they are getting out of the performance exhaust business. I'm pretty sure that Vance and Hines has them...

I thought about putting black one on my Night Train but decided that the chrome pipes were important to set off the black of the bike. I have seen one bike that had them... and I had a neutral reaction to them.

If you want a custom look try yaffe.

They make two styles that are black pipes but chrome Shields.

The chrome shields only cover a small amount of the pipe. I love the looks and think they would look great on a night train.

One style is called the Yaffe 2" supertrapp crack pipe.

The other style is called 2" x pipes. They are on page 195 in the j&p cycles catalog.

They have a website called. www.jpcycles.com.

click here to see the pipes. The pictures are not that good and the supertrapp pipes are not shown in black but the catalog has a real good picture.

You can call 800-397-4844 to get a free catalog. Alot of good parts in there.

Thanks for all the help. Will have to examine them closely before I head off in that direction I guess.

XT_OUTLAW how do like the RB Racing pipe. I've seen thier site, like the exact pipe you have. The only thing that bothers me is why do they need to angle upwards toward the axle. Thats enough to stop me at this point. It would be great if they would follow the lines of the bottom of the frame.
