Internally wired bars on Bones.
Hey guys. Finally got around to internally wiring my stock bones bars. A friend of mine came over and pretty much did the entire thing himself. I don't do electrical.. lol.. Long story short, it was a pain in the a$$, and I was stressed. But the outcome is SOOOO worth it. Anyway, here are the pics..

Why? That braided brake line sticks out like a sore thumb, so hiding a few wires in a black sheath seems to my cynical eyes to be wasted effort. What's nice is that you really took the time to put your mark on the bike to make it yours, and quite right too, but it wouldn't be a priority for me WG!
I know you won't give a hoot about what I think, so don't let that stop you posting what you do, because it's inspirational to the rest of the world's dorks....like me...

My friend did it all. I just handed him tools. We hit a couple snags. It took two 6 hour nights. Crossed two of the black wires with a faint red line, blew two fuses, initial holes we drilled weren't big enough, so had to take the bars back off. Yes, many snags. If I had to to do all over again, I'd pay someone to do it, but it really did come out nice, so I'm happy with it.

I took it off Friday night. Had just the pipes wrapped without the shields, and that was meant to be temporary. The plan was to have the shields painted flat black, and wrap again with the Tan Wrap, but I'm actually liking the chrome for now. Next is new RSD fender, 50's tail light, and Chopper's Inc. 6-Shooter Springer Risers....
