Need opinions on rear turn signal removal...
Thinking about removing my rear signals and going with the Kurakyn LED Smoked Laydown tailight with the built in turn indicator lights. If I go this route I will remove my rear turn signals to clean up the rearend and also b/c one of the bullets has a scratch on it.
Anyway, what I'm asking is do you think this will look good with still keeping the front bullets mounted to my forks? Will it throw the appearance off balance?
thanks for all the opinions

+1 on the "throwing it off a bit." But, I love the look from the rear with no turn signals hanging of the bike. I took mine off my Standard, and put the Kuryaken LED brake light, and I love it. I did the same thing on my '03 Sporty. imboden has a good point about maybe adding a turn signal bar under your triple trees. Keep us posted.

I had my signals off for a few days and it looked killer, but with how often people in cars don't even see me while riding in a straight line I put them back on. I was alos thinking about the same taillight but have not pulled the trigger yet. One of the guys I ride with has the kury led taillight and it is bright when the brakes are pressed in the day, but much dimmer with just the running lights. Safety is always an issue as it is your *** on the line.

Ive got the Kurry smoked tail light and took off my signals so I could put a detachable sissy bar on for my wife, it looks great and I have never had a problem with people not knowing where Im going. I have the tail light set up to flash when I break so I can get a little more attention, but I have never had an issue with turning or changing lanes and I have had the tail light on for over a year now.
