I got the double rail from the dealer and did all right. It still came out cheaper than buying a Mustang or Sundowner seat.

Use the forum search function and type in springer seat. There's several threads already posted with that information.

Should be here any day now. Haven't put the double rail on yet as I was waiting on the pad. Was just about to go and check out if any more of the tall pads had shown up on ebay out of curiosity.

Karen, install the rail now as it's easier with no pad.

You can mount the pad after.

Hi gang. Relatively new to the group. I have a 105 anniversary heritage sortail classic and would love a rider backrest for those long trips. Last long trip was only 120 miles but was killing me afterwards. Does the small backrest look sharp with the tan and black stock seat? Or am i looking at having to change that classy look for a slick backrest? Just asking. Thanks

The Heritage seat won't work with the Springer Rail & Backrest.

You'll need either the Springer or Deluxe seat.

So if someone can clarify for me; does the low pad require an addon rail? Or can you use the stock rail? Thank you....
