My wife usually gets between 40 and 50 on her Deluxe with highway riding. She has a Ness Big Sucker breather and Rush slip ons.

I noticed some of you say you use regular gas, our dealer told us to use only premium gas.

whats with that? I know you seasoned riders will be able to set me right on this one too.

I get between 36 and 42 on the 08 Heritage, but I only live 7 miles from work, which is where 1/2 the miles on it come from. Got the 42 on a poker run last weekend.

WHAT!!! Something is wrong IMO.
My 07 Heritage I get 45-50.
My 08 Cross Bones I get 42-47 (not really broken in yet).
My 06 Street Glide I got 47-52.

I don't drive it wide open, but I wouldn't say I baby any of my bikes either. I would say some of you have tuning issues.

Did I just read one of you get 22mpg?!?!?!? Dude, get your a@@ to the dealership tomorrow ASAP and find out what is wrong with your bike.

I did a long ride this past weekend. I had 184 miles on it and put 3.892 gallons back in it to fill it to the cap. It was mostly highway miles. I usually have to fill it up around 160 miles. This is after I put V&H BS Longs on and a stage 1 breather. When it was all stock I got around 150 to 170 miles on around 4 gallons of gas. I would say something isn't right with the way its tuned. In Indiana the lemon law states that if you have to take it back 3 times for the same problem, then you get a new vehicle. I would just challenge it till they fix it or you get a new bike!

About 33mpg for me w/ a SE AC, V&H BR and SERT (dynoed). Best is about 46mpg on a highway ride, but i do most of my miles commuting in town.
