Default AAGGHH Cherried the bike today

Went over a year since bought new and here I am parking the damn thing and 'Plop' over she goes to the right. I'm holding, engines running, I'm straining, she's going down, hit the kill switch....
Broke the tip off the brake lever, scratched the mirror, the front pipe and the side of the foot board.
I was so pissed at myself the bike was up on one pull.
I get home and Mama's giving me that look...you know, the YDASOBMF look(kids have your parents explain the meaning).
Off to the stealership for the bitter medicine tommorrow.....

It happened to all of us at one time or another. In my shop the other day I did the same exact thing with my brand new Streetglide. It went way over to the right.....dont remember what the hell I was doing but I fought the **** out of it, and DIDNT let her go all the way down.....I think I almost dropped a nut keeping her from going over, but I was close.

I think you will get it back to where you cant even tell it went over! It is just a matter of $$$

Been there, done that...first day I bought it. 2.5 years later, it still sucks. (I am only telling this b/c my wife is making me)

But luckily, all the parts that were scratched were slotted to be tossed anyway.

We've all been there bro! Chalk it up to experience, learn from it, then use the misfortune as a way of upgrading the damaged parts. Gotta love turning a positive into a negative.

Sorry to hear about that. I haven't had mine down, but been damn close a couple times. One time, with my 99 Heritage, I was sitting on a blacktop/asphalt driveway, facing down. Sitting on the bike, I feathered the clutch trying to walk it around to go back up the incline. Well my boot snagged a rough spot in the asphalt, started to go over, but I caught it. Muscled it back up. Close call.
