Did you have bad experience in the past so you know they don't work? I am just curious.

So why is there no COP AVOIDING DEVICE? They are about the same weight/size and intelligence and are known for hiding in hedge-rows on the side off roads and jumping out in front off you when you least expect it (just like Deers)

Someone ought to make one for Raccoon and Possum. Might give them a better chance. Also just wonder how they figured out the sound to make a Deer get out of the road?

Default deer avoidance

There is a mechanical, not an electronic deer avoidence tool you can have on your bike and it is guranteed to eliminate all deer within 500 feet...not sure of the model number but you can find several models on the Smith and Wesson web site...I think the unit is called a gun! FXDSE2

Save your money. I've bowhunted deer for years and those things don't work. They aren't the smartest thing on the planet and when in the rut in fall they are worse.

No experience besides word of mouth. I'm just being a smart ***.

But seriously, as sprawl increases we're seeing lots and lots more deer, not to mention all the other varmints, where we saw none before. Although the deer sometimes seem tame, they are still wary of humans. Oddly enough, this fear doesn't seem to apply to vehicles. Just this morning a visitor told me they had to heard them out of my roadway with her car, and they didn't seem frightened at all. She counted nine.
