THE LOWER RUBBER MOUNTS HAVE BROKEN ON MY HERITAGE TWICE NOW.&nbsp\\; ANYONE USED RIGID TYPE REPLACEMENTS?&nbsp\\; ANY SUGGESTIONS?

fit the passenger foot boards and this makes the bag mounts rigid no problem.

I Broke my rubber bushing removing the saddlebag i think if you lossen the nuts inside the bag first thenlossen up the nut holding the bushing this would not have happend. the part # is90524-01 hc- mount rubber $3.50 each

i had to replace mine. for the lack of a hasle i did not even try to get them warrantied. your bike would be tied up for 2 days over 6dollars worth of parts.

The nuts are a type that won't fall off. Don't tighten them much when you put them on. I had the same problem. Mine broke the first time I tried to take the bags off. Not expensive, just a PIA.

wow!!! I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. I thought I would remove the bags so I could do a better job cleaning the bike. Didn't take much of a turn on the wrench to break the mount.

I just bought some extras, they're cheap. Since then, I've cut a piece of all-thread the same length as the rubber mount, and use a spacer equal to the thickness of the rubber part. Use an acorn nut on the outside. Not fancy but it works.
