The Heartland Two-Five-O is a sleek kit that is ideal for a first-timers wide rear tire option. If I had a dollar for everyone who asked if my bike was the new Rocker C in late 2007 I could buy everyone a kit of their own. With 6,000 miles on the kit since 08/06/2007 I am still thrilled with the look.

heartland ride?
Here's a question for heartland kit owners. I really want to change out my rear for the look etc. BUT How's the ride itself?
As I understand it you go from the standard soft-tail with the tire moving with the suspension under the fender and you ride on the solid frame/fender above it all. That way you don't feel the bumps etc.
Change out to the heartland kit and the fender now moves with the rear wheel, your seat it bolted as part of that and you end up riding on that as it moves up and down. Am I right about all this or did I miss something.
Thanks
Rob

I got my Heartland kit a little over 3 years ago, before they came out with
the EZ kits. Cost me 1250.00 back then. The kit I have is now being called
"the kit that started it all". It's the original Heartland 180 kit. I would say it
was well worth the money. Even the new EZ kits are worth it. IMO

I had the 200ez kit with the progressive shocks and had the bike lowered at least 2 inches. I rode with my wife and did not scrape once. I sold that kit and installed the Heartland 250 kit with an air SAS suspension and it rides better than stock. With either kit, if you setup the right suspension that is the key to improve the ride, it also improve the look of the rear where the fender sits closer to the fender.
