Thanks alot for the replies. The ride isnt a bad one at all. If anyone knows north Texas it will be from Weatherford to Ft Worth by Lockeed. Thinking of a Train or Xbones still. I dont start back to work till mid Aug.

 

I do 110 miles roundtrip 2-3 times a week on a dyna custom 45 to 50 min in the morning about 60 min coming home mostly on the hiway some getting thru San Francisco

 

I have a Softail Custom and ride it 20 miles each way. I have the option of taking the freeway or I can take back roads. The back roads are slower so I take them going home. Bike rides nice, a little bumpy on the freeway though. I ride it a couple of days a week, I don't want to wear it out.

 

25 miles round, mostly highway. Makes everyday a good day.&nbsp\\;

 

A little over 80 miles round trip.&nbsp\\; I ride a RKC.

 

10 miles each way through the city, about 25 minutes each way. I only missed around 3 weeks worth last year. Daily driver and wouldn't have it any other way. 06 FXSTI.

 

every day. about 15 miles each way. only way to get around on so cal freeways

I ride my '08 CrossBones to work and back.&nbsp\\;About 50 miles round trip. Difference of $17.00 versus $60.00 a week in gas. As long as it's not raining in the morning,(I hate getting to work with a wet ***) I try to ride. St.Louis, MO. commuter traffic. &nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

40 miles each way on a softail custom.&nbsp\\; Motorcycles get in the HOV lane.&nbsp\\; Makes for a commute of 40 minutes to 90 minutes (DC traffic sux).&nbsp\\; Train ride is an hour and a half anyway and costs 7 bucks each way.

I've had no trouble with overheating even in the awful messups.&nbsp\\; At least now with synthetic and stage 1.
