Default New Rider worried about wind conditions with stock fatboy wheels

Should I replace stock fatboy wheels if I'm worried about wind conditions? Is it that big of a deal?

Heavy crosswinds can be&nbsp\\;a riding&nbsp\\;issue, but hell, I think I read somewhere that over 35 mph even spoke wheels present an almost solid resistance to crosswind. I wouldn't worry too much.&nbsp\\;

In the overall scheme of things, the solid wheels don't make much difference in the wind, a little, but not much. In fact, the case could be made that the gyroscopic effect of the solid wheel actually helps stability.

NO...at least not for that reason.&nbsp\\; Look at tne tiny opening in the rims on the street glide or other touring bikes and the rear wheel is coved with a plastic saddle bag. &nbsp\\; That set up isn't bothered by wind... In my opinion your body catches way more wind then your wheels do.
