Can someone help a brutha out?.. lol.. Seems the search functionis still shot on here as well... I know someone installed black short shots on a black rocker and I'm hoping to see the pics.. Everytime I see those I think I might just sell my BR 2-1 and buy that setup...

 

I found these here, but I cannot remember whose bike it is. Looks real good, especially on the vivid black! Would look great on Denim Black, too, IMO.

Hey Rail. I want to get that exact same exhaust you have on your ride. who makes that and if you don't mind me asking how much did the parts run ya?

 

Thanks for the pics Marco.. That was the bike I was thinking of.. Wish the side view showed the pipes without the bags though.. My other option is to send the heat shields to JetHot and have them ceramic coat them in matte black.. Btw, I'm painting the tins this winter and going with the flat matte black so these should look good..

Alain.. The exhaust I have&nbsp\\;is a Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-1.. Retail is $699 but if you look hard enough you can find a new one for around $600

latest changes - rolled over license plate to match curve of fender, eliminated front turn signals and install black mirrors with built in turn signals. Will post pictures tomorrow.

May I ask why do u want to change your current exaust? Cuz I hear&nbsp\\;that the 2-1 Br has a nice sound.

 

Hey hdfxcw.. Did the pipes bolt up or did you have to do any mods to get them to fit?

rowdkil.. Not changing the pipe for the sound.. The 2-1 does have a noce sound to it.. A little more volume and crack would be nice at times for overall it sounds and looks good.. That's why I'm not sure which way to go.. Really leaning towards ceramic coating it and not buying a new pipe..

 

What all are you flat blacking Rail?
