Don't expect killer pricing. Yes, some off internet MSRP, maybe the local dealers will throw in an oil change, and you can expect a discount on installed accessories when you purchase the bike.
&nbsp\\;
Salesman still have to eat, dealers still have their overhead, and the MOCO needs every penny in revenue to keep stockholders happy.
&nbsp\\;
On the Fatboys, you may pay full-pop when the general public realizes that they lose the chrome primary cover on the 09s.
&nbsp\\;
I'm just saying.....

Brand new 09 is a lot cheaper. Not much to change out the black stuff.

If I couldnt get an 08 for less than $14500, I'd wait for an 09

ditto. i think the dealers are going to get stuck unless Harley offers like last year low interest finance. I saved about 3000 with that 5% thing stick it to the man. it was end of august i thought.

Chrome Horn Cover $35
Primary Cover plus chrome derby cover $401
Chrome belt guard $85
That's $521 that we can visually see.
What else has been changed to save a few $'s
My guess is a bunch of China crap that we can't see

In looking at the pricing on the 2009 Fatboys, they are listed at nearly $1500.00 less than the 08's. That's less than the list price on my 07!!!
I may be wrong, but just looking at the online photos of the 09's, I don't see the differences to justify the lesser price.
