I would've never thought I'd be saying it but I really think it does. \\; My bike is consistenly running around 10 degrees cooler since I switched to synthetic. \\; Worth the extra few dollars to me.
Amsoil in the engine, 20w50, in the primary, Amsoil Gear lube in the transmission. No problem hitting neutral, doesn't get over 200 degrees, more horsepower because of reduced friction, everything feels slicker than two eels screwing in a bucket of snot, how you goin' to beat that?
Synthetic oils do a much better job with the heat. \\;I think the main cooling effect is noticed when you get your motor running a little more rich. I am a firm believer in Stage 1 mods.
