Don't you have to change the spring for front folks as well?&nbsp\\; I am wondering if it will have adverse impact to handling.

No. You just need to adjust the pre-load of the shocks.

Ive lowered my Crossbones, used a White Bro kit, and changed the seat springs to aftermarket 2" springs the seat height is abot 2,1/2" lower now, the seats has bottomed out a few times, but even with the bike laden up with camping gear, the bikes been fine

I heard the HD kit sucks, any bolt kit will do... But if you want more go with progressives.
How about the Burnout lowering kit? That kit you won't need to press the shock, So you can do it
yourself, Just bolt on?
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\; Do you know wherer to find the burnout lowering kit?

There you go, Thanks sas... Hey Man you a leather neck? Got one of your brothers here that rides with me... Think there are 3 leather necks on the Island? One rides with me, Scott Hunt and I know the other one John "Shoot".
