While out on a ride today, I noticed that I have droplets of water on the inside of my speedo. Naturally, I am rather upset with this. Is there a way to remove the glass face to clean up the water or am I stuck buying an entire new speedo and having the dealer update the odometer?
When its hot out My water evaporates. Also Mine is more
in the fuel gauge. I have seen quite a few threads on this
and most say the dealer claims its normal. Also Harley
wont warranty it unless it stains Your glass.
yep, got the same problem. they say its normal.. what crap/// \\; have not had a chance to take apart and see if i can remove glass or not.... \\; sucks........kerry
Happens to me everytime I was my 07 Train.. And it did happen in the fuel gauge too until I put in the flush mounts.. Which Im starting to think they are complete garbage too..
hell all mine have had the same problem. \\; It is crap and they wont warranty it so once again the moco has produced another quality part that they wont fix
All three of the HDs I have owned in the past 5 years get condensation in the gauges. The dealers always say its normal. I have never seen acutal water droplets, just condensation and it always goes away on a warm day.
