I ran into a situation where I needed some oil in a pinch and my indie told me to just get 50w oil.&nbsp\\; He said it would blend just fine with the 20w50.&nbsp\\; I believe all the 50 that I saw was made for deisels.&nbsp\\; I don't know who else would use it besides maybe a VW.

 

In a pinch you can add Deisel motor oil, per the owners manual.

BTW, what makes Harley 20W50 so special at $6 a quart?

 

Did end up changing out the filter and oil last week as per most everyones advice.&nbsp\\; Dealer checked the oil pressure and all is well.&nbsp\\; As for my light issue, the concensus is that I&nbsp\\;may have had a wet ground\\; especially since the oil/signal lights were flashing alternately.&nbsp\\; Chaulk it up to massive amounts of moisture.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;
