what slip ons fit an 08 flstc (heritage)
so i am considering some new loud pipes... slipons
i am looking all over but would like some input from those in the know... any suggestions on slip ons that will definately fit my 08 heritage and will give me a boost in the sound department?
pics/links would be helpfull
also... whats it cost to have slip ons done (i was going to do a stage 1 thing too.. (as i understand a stage 1 is the air cleaner)

Vance and Hines makes a really nice slip on that look like the big shots but without the price and hassle of changing the header pipes. You might consider the IEDs from nightrider.com. They will get your air/fuel mix where it should be for about $70. Stage 1, 2 and 3 get pretty involved. If your talking about stage 1 upgrades they include: pipes, air cleaner, ecm download, tuners, 103 and 110 kits.

In February I put on Rinehart Slip-ons, RK3909 K&\\;N A/C, and the V &\\; H fuelpak. Plenty of sound. 5400 miles later and no problems. Installed them with some friends, took less than 2 hours, and cost somewhere in the upper $700 range delivered.

If you're looking to go stage 1, \\;\\\\\\; check out fuelmotousa. \\;\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\; Give Jamie a call and you can probably get the works, \\;\\\\\\; (ac/pipes, pcIII) for around $700 or so. \\;\\\\\\; Everything will be tuned specifically for your bike. \\;\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\; He sells specially modified Rush slipons.
 \\;\\\\\\;
For now I'm happy with my IEDs and stock pipes. \\;\\\\\\; I had the Rush 1.75s on and the baffle material burned out after only 2k. \\;\\\\\\; Others haven't reported a problem like that so I don't know if it was a fluke or what. \\;\\\\\\; Rush sent me new material for free and I may re-install them after I get back from my trip to Canada next month. \\;\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\;
 \\;\\\\\\;
I don't know what your noise tolerance is but they can get rather annoying at highway speeds especially with a windshield (earplug time). \\;\\\\\\; Idling, around town and simple cruising, they sound great. \\;\\\\\\; If you just go with 1.75 slip ons (about $250) you don't need a retune. \\;\\\\\\; Anything bigger or high flow ac, you need a fuel manager or you can try the xieds.

I somewhat agree with Jimmers. \\;\\\\\\; I purchased my Rush Slipons w/ 2.25 baffles (Very Loud) and the PCIII from Jamie at FuelMoto.com, the package deal came premaped for my setup and cost around $450 that was 10,000 miles ago and the baffles still work great.

with the Rush slip-ons, the bigger the number - the louder.
 \\;
I got my 2" Rushs and a Power Commander (premapped for my set-up) \\;from FuelMoto - $517.50 (including shipping) and
the HD Screaming Eagle A/C from Chicago HD - $139.95 (no shipping costs)
 \\;
then had an Indy do the install for $100.00
 \\;
I traded header pipes with a soft tail standard..... I got the look I was going for, the sound and a little more performance.
