Bonecrusher, when i replaced my brake pedal with the new one it said to put the pin in the oppisite direction then it was on the stock one, could not get the pin back in for the life of me because theres a little bump on the side of the pin that kind of holds it in place, which I dont rally understand because theres a cotter pin that goes threw it anyways, but any ways I could not get the leveage to put it back in, so I just ground the side of the pin down a little so it went right in.

Although it may be known, the problem is that the clevis pin has a couple of raised ridges just under the head of the pin. Presumably this is to make it a slight press fit so it stays in place even if the cotter pin falls out. When I changed mine, I went ahead and ground the ridges off before I put it back in. The pin is a smooth push fit now and I highly doubt the cotter pin will shear anytime in the next century.

Thanks BTL and nemick that is good to know and like you guys said I can't figure out why the hell they'd even put that cotter pin there when that damn clevis pin isn't going anywhere.&nbsp\\; I'm going to try and get back into it this weekend.
